Another early morning edition of The Shootout’s Favorite Things. And what better player to put first than the Captain, Brenden Morrow, also known as Morrownator.
This year Brenden Morrow took over this team as captain. Last year with his wrist injury *mumblesvrbatamumbles* he missed half the season, and with the Stars being knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, he didn’t have much of a chance to really show what he’s capable of when it comes to leading this team. This season he lead the team in goals as well as in the playoffs.
Then of course when the playoffs were over, we discovered that Brenden ended up playing the Red Wings series with a torn shoulder and a hurt leg. Morrownator is hardcore, and this year he took the team on his back and lead them to the best playoff run in years. The transition is complete, Brenden Morrow has taken over, and it’s well deserved.
