Stars hope to continue their winning ways

The Los Angeles Kings will be traveling to Dallas Thursday for the 5th match-up of the season, 3rd in the American Airlines Center. The Kings are 0-2 this season in the AAC, including getting shut out during their last visit to Dallas. It looks to be a tough game for the Kings, who will be traveling to Dallas from Chicago after their loss against the Blackhawks.

So far the Stars are 1-2 on their current 4-game homestand and are hoping to begin their 4 game road-trip with one last home win.

Before the game, the Stars are going to be honoring Sergei Zubov for his 600th career assist, which happened on November 21st against the Anaheim Ducks on the infamous Mike Modano Tribute Night. Zubov seems to be getting a lot of attention these last few days, which I’m not so sure he’s excited about. He has always been more about the team than getting personal attention.

True. Zubov’s attitude has always been like that, and I think it’s kind of cool that he’s very into that team first mentality.

However, he deserves as a player to be recognized; I realize he loathes that, but it’s nice to see him get some long overdue credit for the many years of amazing hockey he’s played for Dallas.

I hope they do well against the Kings. If they improve on the Edmonton game, they should be alright.
