April Fools? Let’s hope so

I wish I could say this is an evil April Fools joke, but it looks to be true.

Despite all the talk, all the excitement, it seems everyone’s favorite Russian is not yet ready to return.  They originally said he’d play on the roadtrip which got pushed back to Thursday or Friday against the Coyotes.  Now, it’s unknown.  He didn’t skate today and instead went to see a specialist for his ongoing injuries.

This especially worries me (from Five For Fighting)

Coach Dave Tippett called the situation “a concern.” When asked if the problem was the foot or the groin, Tippett said, “all of the above.”

Someone please stock up on the Stoli, Caitlin is going to need it once she hears about this.

I was hoping this was a joke as well. But Heika and Andrew’s Blog both say the same. I was at practice today and didn’t see him. Made me wonder, guess now I know. Please pass my condolences along to Caitlin. (I can’t get my password to work on Blogger. I am so not tech-savvy.)

Ya, I found it on Heika, Andrew’s Stars Page and the Star Telegram’s blog. I can’t see all 3 of them doing the same April Fool’s joke. Or at least I hope not. Ugh.

Poor Zubie… I didn’t ever think a groin/foot injury would be this serious. I hope he gets better soon, we need him out there!

The only good that will come of this is that I get to see more of Fishsticks.
