Stars finish the pre-season 1-5-1

Yes.  Stars lost to the Edmonton Oilers tonight, 3-2.  The Stars put up a good fight, definitely played better than they had been.  There is still a lot of stuff to work on though.  BJ Crombeen got the first Stars goal, from Barch and Boucher.  Robidas tied the game 2-2 on the power play with help from Eriksson and Modano.  Tonight was Doug Janik’s first time in a Stars uniform, and from what I saw of him tonight, he was a good guy to get.  He played really really well.  It was also really great to see Boucher back on the ice

It was not fun to watch, though.  Lots of stuff to work on between now and Friday.  I added 2 people to the 2008-2009 Shitlist, so that is fun.

We had kick ass seats though, Cat and Ajay got vouchers for taking canned food to the game on September 25th, and when we asked for 4 tickets together we ended up with Section 122 row F.  Woot.

Losing isn’t fun, but our seats were pretty bitchin’!
